There are three components to sport specific training, general physical preparedness (GPP), sport specific training, injury prevention. In order to perform your best at the sport, GPP training will help you increase your baseline strength, thus increasing your performance potential. Once you’ve gotten stronger with (GPP), sport specific training will help you train the efficiency of the particular movements of your sport. Finally, injury prevention is implemented into every stage of the training cycle through specific mobility and activation drills.
